2 Granny Smith apples - peeled
2 cans of crescent dinner rolls

Topping:
2 sticks butter - melted
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 can (12oz.) Mountain Dew

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cut the apples into 8 slices each. Place on a paper plate and microwave for 2 minutes.
Put an apple slice in each dinner roll and roll up as directed.
Place in a casserole dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon together well and pour over dumplings. Now pour can of Mountain Dew over topping.
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
