4 eggs
8 tablespoons of sugar
6 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 a stick of butter
1 tablespoon of corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350º F;
2. Make a rather medium-thick sugar syrup;
3. Butter six tall individual muffin tins;
4. Beat the eggs with the sugar and butter;
5. Mix in the cheese;
6. Pour the sugar syrup in the tins to line them well;
7. Pour in the egg/cheese mixture;
8. Put the tins in a water bath in the oven for about one hour.

This recipe is from my grandparents' cookbook. According to the notes my grandfather made, it can also be made with coconut in place of cheese.
