1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 very ripe bananas, crushed
1 tsp. soda
dash of salt
2 cups flout
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, and gradually add sugar until well beaten. Add beaten eggs and crushed bananas. Sift salt and soda with flour, and add to mixture. Add nuts. Place in greased loaf pan, and bake 1 hour at 350 º.
This is yummy warm from the oven, or toasted later on. It freezes well, is always a welcome addition to a potluck and seems to disappear rapidly when put on a buffet table. It is also good as a breadfast item or a dessert with whipped cream. ENJOY!!
