"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Cake:
1 white cake mix
3 T. flour
1 lg. pkg strawberry Jello
1/2 c. water
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
8 oz. frozen strawberries - thawed

Icing:
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter - melted
8 oz. frozen strawberries - thawed

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º.
Mix cake ingredients together and put in a well greased 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until done. (You can use the toothpick method to test doneness, but the cake is super moist and the toothpick will probably not ever come out completely clean.)
Cream butter in mixer. Add strawberries and powdered sugar and beat well.
After cake is done and cooled off a little bit prick holes all over the top of the cake while it is still warm. (The end of a wooden spoon works well for punching holes.) Pour icing over warm cake.

Personal Notes:
Aunt Alley is the sister of George Harris' mother. Her strawberry cake has been a favorite of the HWC family for years!
