4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups shortening (like Crisco)
1 egg
1 T. vinegar
1/2 cup cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Work in the shortening until the mixture is pea size.
Beat egg and add vinegar and water to it.
Make a well in center of flour and gradually add the egg mixture to it. Mixture will be wet. Make it into a ball, wrap it in Saran Wrap or wax paper and let rest in refrigerator for an hour. Roll out into circle to fit pie pan.
