1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp.baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

1.Combine sugars, butter and oil, and beat well.
2.Add eggs and mix well.
3.Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar and vanilla.
4.Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator overnight.
5.Make into small balls and flatten slightly with a fork.
6.Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
7.Do not overcook.
