1 can (10 3/4 oz french onion soup
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 c Itialian bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
1/4 c ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp mustard
1/4 c water
1 tbsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly 1/3 c soup, beef, bread crumbs, eggs, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties. In skillet, brown patties (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat. Add remaining soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Gradually blend water into flour until smooth. Stir into soup mixture. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
