1 large prime rib - trimmed and seasoned to taste
1-2 boxes rock salt
large foil pan
meat thermometer

Directions:
Directions:
Pour rock salt completely covering the bottom of a foil pan.

Place seasoned prime rib in pan and completely cover with remaining rock salt.

Insert meat thermometer in center of meat. Cover with foil before placing in oven.

Place in oven and cook at 350 degrees while monitoring the meat thermometer till cooked to preference.

Remove when done use a brush to wisk off any rock salt on the meat. Cut and serve.

The Rock Salt acts as an insulator to cook the Prime Rib evenly from end to end. There is no after taste of the rock salt on the meat.Best I have ever had.
