COBBLER FILLING
6 cups apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 C sugar
1/4 C flour
1/4 C orange juice

TOPPING
1 C flour
1 T sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C butter
1/4 C milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Core, peel & slice apples. Add sugar, flour & orange juice. Cook over medium heat for 7 minutes. Pour into pie pan.

Topping
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until coarse chunks. Mix together milk & egg. Stir all together until moistened. Crumble over apples.
Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes

(Can use with cherry or peach too)
