1 pkg Hamburger Buns (8)
1-2 Tbsp Butter
2 Eggs
1/4 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Allspice
1 3-4lb Whole Chicken
2 Bay Leaves
1 Onion

Butterballs:
1. Peel the skin off the tops of the hamburger buns and discard. Try to save as much of the inside bread as possible.
2. Remove the soft bread insides of the bottom of the hamburger bun and set aside.
3. Toast bottom shell of hamburger buns in an oven that is preheated to 350 degrees.
4. Put buns and bread chunks through food processor to create fine bread crumbs.
5. Add salt and allspice to bread crumbs. 6. Beat the eggs slightly and add to bread crumbs.
7. Melt the butter and add to bread crumbs.
8. Mix well by hand.
9. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
10. Roll dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Balls must be free of all cracks.

Makes about 25 butterballs.
***Butterballs freeze well.***
Soup:
1. Fill stock pot with cold water.
2. Add whole chicken, bay leaves and onion cut in half to water.
3. Boil about 3 hours or until fully cooked with meat falling off the bones.
4. Use colander to separate chicken stock from meat/onions. Set chicken stock aside and save.
5. Remove meat from chicken and set aside.
6. Add shredded chicken to broth and bring to a boil.
7. Add butterballs and boil about 10 mins.
8. Add noodles and simmer an additional 10 mins.
