• 2 – 3 lb lean deer roast (cubed)
• 3 ribs celery (coarsely chopped)
• 2 medium onions (coarsely chopped)
• 6 carrots (coarsely chopped)
• 1 medium green pepper (coarsely chopped)
• 1 t garlic salt
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 beef bullion cubes
• 2 C diced potatoes
• 16 oz can diced tomatoes
• 8 oz can tomato sauce
• 8 oz water
• 3 T bacon grease (or vegetable oil)
• ź C red wine
• Salt and pepper to taste
• JP’s Steak Seasoning

In a large skillet, brown venison in bacon grease (or veg oil). Pour into crockpot and add remaining ingredients. Allow to cook at least 8 hours on high or overnight on medium.
