1 medium cabbage head
3 lg carrots, sliced
1 c. chopped celery
1 medium onion, chopped
¼ c. sugar
2 t. salt
¼ t. pepper
½ stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Grease large casserole. Cut cabbage into 1 inch slices. Break slices apart and spread in casserole. Top w/vegetables, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sugar. Put butter on top (can be sliced thin or grated on cheese grater). Cover w/foil (make a few holes for steam) and bake at 350 for 1 hr.
