Ground beef (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil
½ cup of finely chopped mixed peppers (red, yellow, orange)
1 small onion finely chopped
1 garlic clove
1 tsp western steak spice
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp garlic and herb seasoning
1 tsp roasted garlic & pepper seasoning
Dash cayenne pepper
Seasoning salt
Pepper
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp beef bouillon powder
1 can of garlic & herb petite cut tomatoes
1 tbsp red wine
¼ cup of carrot & red pepper puree (optional)
1 can or jar of spaghetti or tomato sauce
2 tbsp cream / milk
Fresh chopped basil to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry peppers & oil (ground beef) in frying pan with all spices till cooked and softened. Add tomatoes, wine and puree. Simmer. Add rest of ingredients and turn to low heat for aprox half an hour. Adjust spices to taste if needed. Add basil just before serving. Serve with pasta or use for lasagna.
