2c. brown sugar
1/2lb. butter
1 1/2c. golden syrup
1 can eagle brand condensed milk

Directions:

Combine ingredients. Put on fire and stir constantly. Boil 15-20 minutes to hard ball stage (260º). Sprinkle nuts if desired over buttered cookie sheet and pour candy over them.

yumm!! This recipe is written in Grannie's hand writing but I'm not sure who Riley is? Sounds really good. I'm not sure what boiling to the "hard ball" stage is. I'll have to ask!
