1 Beef Roast
Flour
Oil
Lettuce
Bacon
Vinegar
Sliced Sweet Onion
Radishes
Lemon Gelatin
Crushed Pineapple
Carrots, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Mother salted her Roast, Floured it on both sides, browned it in hot oil on both sides and cooked it in the oven in a heavy roaster pan with 1 cup water, and baked until tender. She made a salad out of her Lettuce from the garden, washed and dried it, fried Bacon crisp and crumbled it. She would pour the hot bacon grease over the Lettuce, add a little Vinegar, crumbled bacon sliced onion, and radishes from the garden. She made a Jell-O Salad of lemon jello, crushed pineapple and shredded carrots.
