1 lb. beef round, cubed
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
dash pepper
2 1/2 c. beef broth
1 bay leaf
4 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, cubed
2 onions, diced (or 1/2 c. frozen chopped onion)
1 clove garlic, diced (or 1 tsp. frozen chopped garlic)
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried marjoram

Brown beef in canola oil. Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper. Toss with beef in crockpot until all flour is absorbed. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cover. Cook on high 4-6 hours or low 10-12 hours.
