Pare, core and halve
6 apples

Arrange in large flat pan or skillet.

Sprinkle with
3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
1/3 raisins
Add 1/3 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook over low heat until apples are tender. Turn apples to cook both sides. Baste frequently with caramel syrup.
Serve warm with cream
