Ingredients:  
8 large potatoes, diced and boiled until tender
1 lb. bacon, crumbled
1 large onion
1 cup cream
3 cups milk
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Drain cooked potatoes.
Dice and saute bacon until almost crisp. Add the onions, cook until tender. Add to potatoes, bacon, onion mixture, milk, cream and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer.

Dad used to make potatoes soup ALL of the time...I love it now, but not so much back then.

Okay, I agree that Dad made something called potato soup but not exactly like this. I think it was when they were broke and he was making due. Sue and I used to say "Potato soup, uck." and get in trouble for teaching the other girls not to like it.
