2/3 cup crisco
1 cup buttermilk
3 to 3 ½ cups self rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour. Add cricks to flour. Add buttermilk. Work cricks and buttermilk into flour by hand. Mix to consistency that it can be handled. Pinch with fingers and roll into ball. Place on greased pan. Pat top of biscuit to flatten. Bake at 500º for 10-12 minutes.
