½ lb ground beef or pork
1 large onion chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
½ tsp. ground cumin
1-2 cans refried beans
1 (4-5 oz) can green chilies
¾ cup Taco sauce
1 cup chopped green onion, with green part
1 small can sliced ripe olives
3 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
½ pint sour cream
chopped cilantro
salt to taste
corn chips

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef or pork, onion, and garlic in small amount of oil. Salt to taste with salt and cumin. Drain. In bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking dish, spread refried beans. Cover with meat mixture. Spread chilies. Cover evenly with Monterey Jack cheese. Sprinkle with taco sauce. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chopped green onion (with green part) and olives. Mound sour cream in center of dish. Garnish with cilantro. Can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen up to the garnish-sour cream bit. Serve with corn chips.
