1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
Italian seasoning
Season Salt
California Style Garlic Salt
1 small can Del Monte Diced Tomatoes
1 can Hunt’s Garlic & Herb Spaghetti Sauce
4 cups (2 lb.) Ricotta Cheese or 24 oz. of large cottage cheese and 1 cup of ricotta
2 cups (8 oz.) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, garlic herb
2 Eggs
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 pkg. (1 lb.) lasagna noodles, uncooked
Canadian bacon

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, brown beef and pork, add Italian seasoning, season salt and garlic salt. Stir in tomatoes and spaghetti sauce, simmer. In large bowl stir together ricotta and cottage cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, parmesan, eggs, salt and pepper. In a 13” x 9” x 2” baking pan arrange noodles lengthwise over sauce, overlapping edges. Spread 1/3 cheese mixture over pasta then spread with 3/4 cup meat sauce, top with Canadian bacon and some shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers twice, beginning and ending with pasta. Top with remaining meat sauce, sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and additional parmesan cheese if desired. Cover with foil and bake 1/2 hour at 300 degrees, turn down to 250 degrees for 1 hour, then turn back up to 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Take foil off the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
