4-6 c. chopped rhubarb
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. of cinnamon red hots
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Put rhubarb in a pan and cover with hot water. Bring to a boil and immediately drain off water. Add sugar , cornstarch, cinnamon, red hots and then the beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked crust. Crimp crust edges.
Bake 350º for 1 hour.

This is from my mother too - Marie Meyers. You can exchange some of the rhubarb for strawberries only add after draining the water. You can also add orange peel for a different taste.
