3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
2 to 3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped, no stems
1 or more jalapeņo, seeded and finely chopped
3 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice or more to taste
salt to taste

Chop tomatoes into small chunks - I know some people remove the seeds and "gel" but this is simply too much work!

I sometimes roast the peppers before mincing for a slightly smoky flavor.

Add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Allow the mixture to sit in the refrigerator 30 minutes or so to let the flavors mingle.
