1 ½ lb ground beef
1 can mushroom soup
1 c water (Soup)
2 cans refrigerated biscuits
1 c celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
6 slices American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°. Brown hamburger, drain. Stir in soup, water, celery, onion. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until celery and onion are soft. Separate one can biscuit dough into 10 biscuits - cut each biscuit into 2 layers. Arrange 5 rows of biscuits on bottom of ungreased 13x9 inch pan. Spoon hot meat mixture over biscuits: arrange cheese slices on top. Separate second can of biscuits the same as first can and arrange on top of cheese slices. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and biscuits are done. Serve immediately.
