Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. butter (1 c.)
1 c. sugar
Whole pecans or almonds
Chocolate bar
Walnuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Begin by buttering a slab and placing whole pecans or almonds on top. Shred chocolate bar in bowl. Chop walnuts finely.
Then, in a heavy pan over medium heat, melt butter. After butter is melted, add sugar. Turn heat to medium high, stirring constantly. Watch for the butter mixture to turn from a yellow color to a tan color (about the color of a paper sack). This takes about 15 minutes. It is crucial to watch very closely. When mixture turns brown, remove from heat immediately and spoon over the pecans or almonds. Quickly spread shredded chocolate on top of butter mixture. As chocolate melts, spread over top. Place finely chopped walnuts on top of chocolate. Allow to cool completely. When cool, break into pieces.
