6 lb. brisket
6 c. water
1 large onion, sliced
1 bay leaf
16 whole cloves
Few grains garlic salt


Sauce:
2 c. catsup
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Put meat in large pot. Add water to cover (8 cups.) Add onion, cloves, bay leaf, and garlic salt. Cover and bring to a boil. Then simmer for 4 hours or until tender. Cool in liquid; drain off liquid. Trim off excess fat. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight. Cut very thin slices and stand in a dish. Arrange close together in 9 x 13 inch dish. Mix sauce ingredients together and pour over meat and bake for 40 minutes at 350º. Baste the meat.
