3 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. grated rind of lemon
1 c. whipping cream
3 egg whites
Vanilla wafers
Directions:
Directions:
Cook the egg yolks, sugar, lemon juice, and rind until thickened. Beat the whipping cream and fold into cooled lemon mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold mixtures together. Line 9 x 13 dish with half the vanilla wafers, crushed, and pour mixture on top. Put the remainder of the crushed vanilla wafers on top of the cream mixture.
