1 Tbsp dry yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water
2 Tbsp sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup margarine
Parmesan cheese or other seasonings for toppings
Pizza sauce or other dipping sauces

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water together with fork. Let set for 1-2 mins. Add salt & flour(slowly) Mix and knead 3 min. Let rise 20 min. Melt margarine and put in 9x12 pan. Flour surface & hands and roll out dough. Lift into pan. Spread to corners. Raise 10 mins. Cut into strips. Sprinkle with toppings. Bake at 325º for 20 mins. Cut again while hot. Serve with pizza sauce or other dipping sauces.

For a more desert like sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar for toppings and serve with hot cocoa or milk.

This is my grandma's famous recipe that is a family favorite. If you double the recipe, it makes one cookie sheet of thick bread sticks. This is how we usually do it.
