1/2 c rolled oats
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c all- purpose flour
1/2 tsp.cinnamon
1/4 c butter

1.Preheat oven to 350

2. Peel and slice fruit. Arrange in a buttered 8 x 8 glass dish. Use enough fruit to fill the pan about 5 - 6 cups.

3. Combine oats, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle crumb mixture over fruit. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipping cream.

I triple the topping recipe for 9 x 13 size pan. Apple, pears, peaches work well. Also try Apples or pear with fresh whole cranberries. This recipe also works with canned peaches, just cut the cooking time to 25 minutes.
