1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small can italian tomato paste
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 cup water
4 cups cooked pasta (elbow, penne, etc)
1 Tbsp sugar
8 slices American cheese
salt/pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger and onion in large skillet. Drain fat. Add garlic, tomato paste, tomato soup, water, salt/pepper, and sugar. Mix well and simmer 20 minutes. Cook pasta during simmer time. Add pasta to sauce and mix. Top with cheese and cover for 2 min until cheese is melted. Serve with garlic bread and salad.

This is a favorite in our house. This recipe has been passed on through the generations and even works well with picky eaters. Leftovers taste even better after the flavors marry.
