3/4 cup crisco
1 egg
1 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons molasses (unsulphured)
3.4 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, add egg and molasses. Combine dry ingredients with sugar mixture. Roll into a ball. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer.

Roll into balls and dip in sugar. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
