2 lbs baking potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced
1/2 c yellow onion (chopped fine)
1/4 t salt
1/4 t nutmeg
2 T butter, cut into small pieces
1/2 c milk
2 T flour
3 oz Swiss cheese slices, torn into small pieces
1/4 c green onions (chopped fine)

1. Layer half of the potatoes, 1/4 c onion, 1/8 t salt, 1/8 t nutmeg, and 1 T butter in 4 1/2 quart CROCK POTŠ slow cooker. Repeat layers. Cover; cook on low 7 hours or on high 4 hours.

2. Remove potatoes with slotted spoon to serving dish and cover with foil to keep warm.

3. Blend milk and flour in small bowl until smooth. Stir mixture into cooking liquid. Add cheese; stir to combine. Turn CROCK POTŠ slow cooker to high. Cover; cook for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir. Pour cheese mixture over potatoes and serve. Garnish with chopped green onions.
