14 oz. Kraft Caramels
5 oz. Carnation Evaporated Milk
German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cups melted butter or margarine
6 oz. bag Toll House Morsels
1 cup chopped walnuts, optional

Directions:

Bake at 350º

Melt caramels with 1/2 cup evaporated milk.

In a bowl combine; cake mix, 3/4 cups melted butter.1/3 evaporated milk and walnuts (optional).

In 9 x 13 greased pan; spread 1/2 the cake mix mixture. Covering the entire bottom of pan
Bake at 305º for 6 minutes.
Remove, sprinkle chocolate chips over cake. Layer the caramels, spread remainded of cake mix mixture.
Bake 15 more minutes @ 350º.
Remove and cool, cut into squares.
