Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Bag of chopped or shredded Romaine Lettuce
1/4 cup red onion, chopped
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup bacon
1/4 cup green onion
1/4 cup cheddar or jack cheese, crumbled or shredded
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
In a large salad bowl, empty the bag of romaine lettuce. Sprinkle the red onion on top of the lettuce.
Rinse the peas in cool water and drain, but do not cook. Add the peas as the third layer. Next, add the bacon pieces followed by the green onion and then 1/4 cup of the cheese. Spoon the mayo as the final layer and spread to form a thin layer on top. Cover the salad and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I do not measure the ingredients but add enough of each to form a thin layer. You can add as much as you want. There are lots of variations. You can add chopped boiled eggs, chopped broccoli, chopped cauliflower, etc. Sometime I use ranch dressing in lieu of the mayo.
