2 cups milk
2 cups honey
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
5 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk in saucepan until bubbles appear around edge of pan. Add honey and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool to lukewarm. Heat oven to 325.
Butter and flour two 9x5x3 loaf pans. Beat butter and eggs together in large bowl of mixer at low speed. Beat in milk mixture, flour, salt & baking soda, scraping bowl occasionally with rubber spatula. Beat on medium speed 3 min. Fold in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pans. Garnish top with walnut halves, if desired. Bake 1 hour, 15 min. Remove from oven. Cool in pan 15 min. Remove from pans.
