Fresh whipped cream
2 quarts sliced strawberries
2 quarts fresh blueberries
1 pound cake
1 large box instant vanilla Jello pudding
2 ½ c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix pudding mix with milk. Whisk together. Set aside for 5 minutes to thicken. Layer in a trifle dish starting with pudding on the bottom, then cake, pudding, berries, cake, pudding, berries. Continue until you reach the top of the bowl. Top with whipped cream and berries. Cover and chill. If time permits, let trifle set for 2 to 12 hrs in the refrigerator. This allows the flavors of the cake and cream to marry, with out making the cake soggy. Serve cool. Garnish with whipped cream and berries. A little sprig of mint for color never hurts.
