1-1.2 cups Bisquick mix
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple drained
1 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In large mixer bowl, beat all ingredients on low speed 30 sec., scraping bowl. Beat on med. speed 4 min., scraping bowl.
In 9x13 pan, pour melted butter,
Spread brown sugar over butter.
Spread pineapple over brown sugar
Pour cake batter over all. Bake for 30-35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Immediately turn out onto foil-covered cookie sheet.

I usually just crumble brown sugar over the melted butter until it looks covered. You just can't have enough brown sugar.
