Directions: |
Directions: To prepare marinade, combine all ingredients, except roast, in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cool. Marinate roast overnight in refrigerator. The next day, remove roast from marinade and place in a shallow roasting pan. Roast at 350 for 35 minutes on one side. Turn over and bake an additional 1 1/2 hours. Baste with marinade while roasting. This roast is excellent done on the barbeque. Cutting a pork loin into thick chops and marinating in this sauce and then grilling is another good choice! |

Notes: The cayenne in this recipe is optional. My family likes to sweat, so I use a heaping teaspoonful!
