Directions:
Directions:
Boil a fry pan of water and put the asparagus in for between 1 minute and 1.5 minutes based on the thickness of the stalks. Drain the water out of the pan.

To serve hot:
Make sure the water is gone. Add butter into the hot pan and cover. Salt and pepper it.

To serve cold:
Dump the drained asparagus into a bowl of ice water till cold. Drain on paper towel and serve.
