1 lg can evaporated milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup grated American cheese

Heat milk and salt slowly (careful not to burn).
Grate 1 cup American or cheddar cheese. Put into sauce pan. Stir till cheese melts, about 2 minutes

Use this for topping on broccoli or asparagus, even cauliflower. Try it on elbow macaroni. Francine loves this; she told me herself.
