4 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 14oz. can chick peas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
2 tbsp tahini (sesame spread)
1 large lemon, juiced with pulp
cup olive oil
2-3 tsps cracked or coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
tsp paprika
1/8 - tsp cayenne

Add chick peas, tahini, olive oil, and lemon juice to a food processor and blend on low to medium speed till mixed; add more olive oil or lemon juice for a thinner consistency. Add garlic and spices between mixing and adjust amounts & consistency of the hummus to your taste.

Ready to serve & will keep in fridge for a few days.

Garlic & spice flavors become stronger when stored.
