2 T. olive oil
1/2 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
14 oz. chicken broth
2 cups orzo
1/2 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat 8" pot over moderate heat. Add oil, onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add broth to pan. Bring to boil. Add orzo. Cover pot and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook 15 minutes until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring occassionally. Remove lid and stir in cheese. Season with salt and pepper and herbs.
