1 box German Chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. Kraft caramels
1 C. evaporated milk (divided)
3/4 C. butter, melted
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 C. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch cake pan. Unwrap caramels and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Add 1/2 C. of the evaporated milk. Microwave on medium power until melted. Stir until well blended. Set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, Blend together the cake mix, melted butter, and remaining 1/2 C. of evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of this mixture in the prepared pan and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Dot remaining batter over cake. Return to oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes. Let stand 24 hours before cutting.
