1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla











Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, Crisco and butter: beat in egg yolks.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Roll dough in balls about the size of walnuts; then roll in sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 15 minutes on ungreased baking sheet. Cookies should be golden color.
