Creamy Chicken Noodles Recipe

4-6 chicken breasts
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. (1 packet) dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
6 oz. cream cheese, cubed
salt, pepper
1/2 cup water (optional-depending on consistency you want)
1 Tbsp. chopped onion (optional)
1 bag of Amish noodles

Cook chicken in crock pot with salt, pepper, butter, & dry salad mix sprinkled over it (4-6 hours on low, until chicken can be easily shredded with a spoon).

45 minutes before serving, add soup, cream cheese, *water, & onion. Cook until smooth, stirring occasionally.

*If using less chicken, you may want to omit the water for a thicker consistency.

Serve over Amish noodles.
