Cream:
1 cup butter
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar

Blend in:
2 unbeaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift in:
3 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Add:
1 cup quick cooking oats.

Directions:
Directions:
Form into rolls on wax paper. Roll up and chill for 5 hours or overnight. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and dip in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 4 tsp. cinnamon.

Grease cookie sheet. Bake 350º approximately 8-12 minutes. Take out a little early and let finish baking on tray.
