2 c. fresh raspberries or your favorite fruit
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Place washed berries in the bottom of a well greased deep dish. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk and pour evenly over fruit.
Sprinkle 1 cup sugar on top of batter. Pour 1 cup boiling water over all. Do not stir. Bake about 1 hour or until crusty and lightly browned.
Serve warm with ice cream or cool and top with whipped topping.
