IRISH TORTE

CAKE INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
20oz. can of crushed pineapple with juice)
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup chopped nuts (more if desired)
1 tsp vanilla extract




FROSTING INGREDIENTS
1 8oz. package of cream cheese
1 stick of butter
1-3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

CAKE DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat oven to 350°. Mix all contents and pour
into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
About 5 minutes before the cake is done, begin
preparing the frosting.



FROSTING AND COMPLETION DIRECTIONS

Heat ingredients over low heat. Frost the cake
while hot to seal in all of the moisture! Sprinkle
another 1/4 cup, or so, of chopped nuts on top..
