Macaroni (elbow not salad mac) - 16oz (1 lb)
Cheddar Cheese - Shredded (Mild or Sharp) -
sold in 2-4cup packages (1-2 C per 1 lb of mac)
Butter (1 cube)
Milk (1/4 to 1/2 Cup) dependent of volume of mac

HEAT OVEN to 300 degrees

Cook Mac like usual (boil) - do not over cook
Prepare casserole dish (size dependent on how much mac you are cooking)
Slice cubed butter in thin slices and lay slices at the bottom of casserole dish.
Add 1/2 of the cooked macaroni.
Sprinkle 1/2- the cheese over the macaroni and mix.
Add remainder of macaroni.
Sprinkle remainder of the cheese and mix.
Add 1/4 cup milk per 1 lb of mac
Place in Oven for 20-30 minutes - until cheese has melted completely.
Turn to Broil to brown the top.
SERVE - ENJOY
