Lemon Squares Recipe

3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (may use 1/2 c.)
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder

Combine first 3 ingredients and press on a large greased cookie sheet. Mix the remaining ingredients and spread over the first mixture. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes until lightly browned. Cool and frost with the following:
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. melted butter
Juice of 1 lemon or other flavoring
Combine and frost. Cut into squares.
